PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY OF THE PRIVATE BAILIFF

PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY OF THE PRIVATE BAILIFF shall cover the liability of the Insured for material and non-material damage caused to the parties, other participants in the enforcement proceedings and all third parties for culpable non-performance of his obligations as a private bailiff.

Typically, insurers apply a self-participation of 10% of the insurance amount.

Pursuant to Art. 8. (1) of Ordinance 2 of 06.02.2006 on compulsory insurance of the PMI “The contract for compulsory insurance shall be concluded for a period of one year. That period shall be extended or a new contract concluded not later than 30 days before the date of its expiry.’

The private bailiff shall provide upon request a certificate issued by the insurer certifying the existence of a compulsory insurance contract. The certificate contains the necessary information in Bulgarian and English.
